It is an honor to speak to you today as we gather for this remarkable event organized by USLACC Africa, dedicated to building bridges between our continents, promoting African heritage, and fostering deeper connections between African and American businesses.
I want to take a moment to acknowledge the incredible work being done by the African Representative, Ambassador Ifeoma Mary Ejiogu. Her dedication, vision, and leadership have been instrumental in making this event and so many others like it possible. Through her efforts, we are seeing remarkable strides in strengthening partnerships between African and American businesses. Her unwavering commitment is truly inspiring. USLACC has promised her continuous support and collaboration in her activities in Africa and beyond.
I also commend the efforts of all Governments, individuals, embassies especially Nigeria Embassy in Washington DC that offered their facilities to host this event. Earnest appreciation to you all. As we come together to celebrate African heritage and businesses today, we are reminded of the tremendous potential for growth and collaboration between our regions.
The rich diversity of Africa, paired with the innovative spirit of America, creates countless opportunities for mutually beneficial partnerships. Through business collaborations we can drive sustainable growth and create lasting prosperity for both continents. Let us continue to work together to promote African businesses and expand access to opportunities.
Thank you, and I look forward to the great work we will accomplish together and to seeing you in May 2025.
